2010, JUNE 21, THE BRAG MAGAZINE, HOPE INTERVIEW
Text of the interview + the photo accompanying the article is findable in the main, long articles thread above, placed there in chronological order.
This interview I found online and first read many years ago but neglected to copy it (or else I lost a file of it I hadn't backed up). Then it disappeared and I became unable to locate it. I hoped it would turn up again as it's the only interview I know of where Hope comments on the official video (released Dec. 2009) for the Massive Attack song "Paradise Circus" which Hope guest-sings on.
Mazzy Star fan Gordon Hobs recently found and shared in the Facebook group this "lost" 2010 Hope interview from The Brag mag.
The Paradise Circus video could be viewed as controversial as it contains XXX content and is banned from Facebook, You Tube, & other sites that forbid nudity or porn. Hope's comments about it I view as important 'cause in them she endorses the video, says she likes it, and says it needed her formal approval to be released. I thought that important info to include if I wrote about the video in fan groups.
VIMEO video site does not ban the video. The uncensored Paradise Circus video has long been available there:

Note the video is "not suitable for work" (NSFW, as they say), or for minors.
The official video for the song is unusual. It's not a typical music video in that it's a short documentary that uses the song as its soundtrack/theme song. Director Toby Dye was enlisted to create the video as a promotional video for Massive Attack's album "Heligoland." Massive Attack featured the video on the band's website for many months after it was first released. Many music sites at the time published articles about the video's release and provided links to view it. -Hermesacat/BB
