Spoon:
The video one you mention is the only Mazzy video interview I've ever seen. Other interviews I've encountered , few as they are, are all audio. I only know of four recordings of Mazzy Star interviews, in total:

-1994, OCT. 28, MAZZY STAR TV INTERVIEW (Video), MUSIQUE PLUS TV CHANNEL, MONTREAL, kindly upped to yt in two parts by mazzystar.free.fr Forum member Zarik under his yt name UnreleasedOriginal, here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7STkdKwlqY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqgQznBnQDo

-1993, Nov.: VPRO radio performance + interview, which I upped to yt, here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNRg4_9fMKA
It's also listed in the Boots list & is downloadable here;
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzgPlY ... g2QVk/edit

-1993, Nov. 5: KCRW, Radio performance + interview.( Unfortunately, KCRW blocked this at yt via a copyright claim when I tried to up it to yt). It's listed in the Boots list with this DL link:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/VjN_DB8B/Maz ... 10-05.html

-2013, Aug. 2, Parlhot interview by Sylvain I upped to yt here:
http://youtu.be/TJaFHGAEFiE
It's also findable in the Boots thread as an audio file download.

Spoon,

The only TV interviews I know of are the Canadian Musique Plus interview you mentioned and an interview they gave to MTV's 120 Minutes.
The MTV interview was broadcast on 22 May 1994 with a live performance of Bells Ring (acoustic version). The video shows David and Hope sitting and answering questions. Unfortunately, I only have the last 15 seconds of the interview (David talking about his collaboration with Hope). I uploaded it here (low quality video :? ).

I searched torrent sites and this 120 Minutes archive site for the full version of the interview but I haven't been able to find it yet.
If anyone knows where this MTV archive can be found, please let me know!

Emma:
Thanks so much for sharing your video file of that 1994 Bell's Ring MTV performance with the partial interview. Plus, your version has many extra seconds of the song that are missing from the you tube upload upped by youtuber ManicDBB six years ago. That yt upload is lacking some seconds at both the beginning & end of the song, so it starts & ends abruptly.

This song/video has special meaning as it was hearing "Bell's Ring" for the very first time via seeing ManicDBB's yt upload of this live video that (belatedly) converted me to being a Mazzy Star fan in 2010. This song/performance "zinged" & "wowed" me as all Mazzy Star's music has continued to do ever since!

This gives good reason to want to create a "restored" version of the video by taking Emma's version's beginning & ending & splicing those missing seconds onto the the yt version from ManicDBB (which has the best image quality of the two). The sound's a bit different on the two. Emma's is recorded louder & has more high-end. ManicDBB's is a bit muddier sounding with less high end. An equalizer helps with the sound. I only know something about adjusting sound levels on straight audio, not video, files, so, I left the sound as-is on the videos.
Here's the youtube link for the combination version I put together from Emma's & ManicDBB's files:
http://youtu.be/lsVQ02WFNC0
I placed the interview portion at the end instead of leaving it at the beginning.

[Later update 2: I wasn't happy with the sloppy way some of the video "splicings" turned out in the first TWO yt uploads I posted links for here earlier. I've since upped a THIRD version. The link above is another new one for a new version. I got better results editing this time using Windows Movie Maker instead of Freemake Video Converter].

-It occurred to me today there's another audio interview recording with David Roback although it's from Hope-era Opal days, pre-Mazzy Star. It's found in the David Roback radio performance + interview recording from Rome, 1988-03-23, David did by himself prior to a Rome Opal show. It's in the Boots list. David sings & accompanies himself on acoustic guitar, plus answers interviewer questions. On re-listening today, I notice he talks about his 1984 Rainy Day album project, how much he likes Italy's appreciative fans, & how he likes Italy's old buildings. David's more open & enthusiastic throughout that short Rome interview than in any others I've heard, I think.
[later update: I upped the 1988 Roback radio appearance to yt today, here: http://youtu.be/NL5mzjwyWNc ]

It's been a year since I last uploaded any Mazzy Star or related material to youtube, a year of distractions, unfortunately. But today I upped the complete, excellent Mazzy Star - 1996, Paris, Le Divan du Monde show audio recording to yt, here:
https://youtu.be/ttOFvRVZlMM
It's one our webmaster Emma attended & wrote up her recollections of & posted them in this forum last year.
I've included Emma's account in full in the video's description at yt. With luck, I'll soon upload more full Mazzy Star shows to yt. Also, some more Hope Sandoval & the Warm Inventions shows in anticipation of Hope's forthcoming new Warm Inventions single & album, & HOPEfully a 2016 tour!

This is a Vimeo link for the video of Mazzy Star's live TV performance of "California" on Jimmy Fallon's show, Nov. 25, 2013.
https://vimeo.com/80486731
NBC went after uploads of it. My own attempt to up the video to yt got blocked immediately, and my upload of it at Dailymotion site survived some months before being taken down. But this Vimeo one has been up unmolested for two years, apparently. Thanks go to David Morgan for finding it.

People who were at this site during Mazzy Star's 2013 tour will recall reading fan GuntahKela's (Juan's) fascinating account he wrote up in a thread here called "Wiltern L.A." of meeting the band after the L.A. show as they were getting ready to leave on their tour bus. That thread is found on page 2 of the General Discussion" index, here: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=14 . He also posted there a link to his Instagram account where he had posted photos he took at the time, including photos of autographs from David, Keith, & Hope (Hope added a delightful cat cartoon drawing to hers), here: https://www.instagram.com/oakley_ranger/
If you scroll down his Instagram page far enough you'l find his photos.
He also posted to Instagram a rare 6-second video of Hope speaking to fans and others on the tour bus.
Yesterday, having finally learned how to download videos from Instagram, I D-Led Juan's clip and upped it to yt here: https://youtu.be/RkMN65SoJ0E
Since it's so short, I looped it 10 times, but the extended video is still just a minute long. I wish it was longer, but it's fun to watch, though brief. Juan was okay with me using his photos in my yt slideshows, so hopefully he won't mind my sharing his video via yt too.

Also, I recently uploaded Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions complete & very good Oct. 31, 2009 Dublin show, here: https://youtu.be/-JJ8SKc2J54

Aside from the short clip of Hope speaking outside her tour bus after the Nov. 7. 2013 L.A. Mazzy Star show, GuntahKelah (Juan Carlos, "JC") shot one other brief clip of David Roback & Keith Mitchell signing autographs which he just shared via Facebook and has said he's okay with me also upping it to yt, here: https://youtu.be/EPbtaoIhp6U
His Hope clip I posted a link for in this thead earlier. Here it is again: https://youtu.be/RkMN65SoJ0E

-Also, I upped a vintage Mazzy Show to yt, 1994, Mach 17, CBGB, NYC. It includes an early recording of the vintage Mazzy song, rarely performed in the 1990s, "I'm Less Here," which saw a belated studio release as a 2014 single.
https://youtu.be/d8w5aiWAcgQ

-And today I upped to yt two recordings of the same MTV live performance of Bells Ring, 1994-5-22, here:
https://youtu.be/aVOrOs37jl4 The first is the complete performance (found and shared in the forum here by webmaster Emma), followed by a second, better recorded (better audio & visual quality) version upped by ManicDBB & available at yt for many years, except the second one is but a partial recording missing the beginning and ending of the song.
Previously, I uploaded to youtube my attempt to splice the beginning & end from version one onto version two, but wasn't happy with how the edit turned out, so decided to, instead, up both versions together, one after the other, instead of splicing/editing them. There's also snippet from an interview that preceded the MTV broadcast and appears in Emma's video file. Unfortunately, the rest of the interview is unavailable, unless a more complete version of the video turns up somewhere.

Some more new uploads to my yt Channel:

-Mazzy Star - 1994-5-21,live Mercury Lounge , NYC, Full Show, 9 songs:
https://youtu.be/tpIjdYJW4xo
Another Scott Simpson original recording.

-My own new upload to yt of Hope + Massive Attack's 2009 song collab. "Paradise Circus", with notes
re. Hope's collaborating with the band, including interview quotes, plus notes re. the XXX-rated
official video of the song.
https://youtu.be/pnr9uSxiYcY

Youtube alows only censored versions of the "Paradise Circus" video but here's the uncensored XXX-rated version of the "Paradise Circus" video viewable at Vimeo: https://vimeo.com/71961703
Some overzealous administrator (one of five) at the popular Mazzy Star & Hope Facebook fan Group took down my post there that gave info re. the video along with with a Vimeo link. But it's not the porn aspect that should be deemed "inappropriate." What's inappropriate, imo, is for a Hope fan site to be suppressing/deleting info re. an official video of a Hope song, a video she herself likes and approved. It's part of Hope's career, an unusual & interesting one too, which deserves to be known, not suppressed by a Hope fan site. Perhaps the FB Group would do well to change its name to "Mazzy Star & Hope Sandoval Group (Strictly Vanilla)"! The censorship started me thinking that many Hope fans probably don't even know about the video, & that it deserves to be better known, which is why I'm making new posts here, & at yt about it.

Also, I've also upped a high quality HD file of the "Paradise Circus" video hanwaker shared with me to this file sharing site where anyone can download it: http://www.filefactory.com/file/6u5l9gy ... 202009.zip It's listed in the Boots list now. It's much better quality than the Vimeo versions findable onine, which is why I'm adding it.

I upped an 11 song compilation of Hope's collabs together at yt, here: https://youtu.be/8muWXqq9eu8
Assembled together, they songs make for an excellent unofficial Hope "album"!
Song Listing:

01 Sometimes Always, w. The Jesus & Mary Chain, 1994,(Stoned & Dethroned album), starts at 0:00 mark
02 Perfume, w. The Jesus & Mary Chain, 1998, (Munki) 2:31
03 Asleep From Day, w.The Chemical Brothers,1999 (Surrender) 7:10
04 Killing Smile, w. Death in Vegas, 2002,(Scorpio Rising) 11:57
05 Help Yourself, w. Death in Vegas, 2002,(Scorpio Rising) 16:46
06 All This Remains, w. Bert Jansch, 2002,(Edge of a Dream) 27:17
07 Angels' Share, w. Vetiver, 2004, (Vetiver album) 31:59
08 Cherry Blossom Girl, w. Air, 2004, (Cherry Blossom Girl single) 36:20
09 Paradise Circus, w. Massive Attack, 2010, (Heliogland) 39:13
10 Not At All, w. Dirt Blue Gene, 2013 44:12
11 I Don't Mind, w. Psychic Ills, 2016 47:36 (Inner Journey Out)

-"Not at All" is not yet released commercially. This recording comes from D.B.G.'s upload of the song to their yt Channel which is the only release of I know of, here:
https://www.youtube.com/user/dbgshows .
-"I Don't Mind" is, as of this writing, not yet released except as a youtube (& Soundcloud) release by the band Psychic Ills, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nh60iGucgzo

I won't update the audio file of the Hope Collabs compilation found in the Boots list (it currently lacks the Psychic Ills song) until I can obtain a better audio quality file of it once the song's officially released & buyable (in June , 2016). The yt version is 192 kbps which is mediocre quality.

I also found at yt, downloaded & re-upped the (poorly identified) video of Hope +JAMC video performing Sometimes Always at MTV, 1994, in HD quality, here: https://youtu.be/aNGTG1yn85w
