I'll second that. Detroit last year was my first show.

I'm not sure if this is the right place but I just wanted to report that:

-Mazzy Star - 2013-11-23, Silver Spring, MD, FLAC:
http://www.filefactory.com/upload/resul ... zzujrq2093
A good quality recording from Dime member "emmanuel". This show was last date of the band's
15-date Nov., 2013 tour.

This link is broken.

Also I like to mention (because I think Hermesacat, reported fear of being sold or spammed by them) that I've been a 4shared member for several years now and never had even a single spammail from anyone, so i reckon they are trustworthy :) (not to mention a zillion times faster in downloads than filefactory).
Also it's not needed to log out and back in every time you want to download something, I just never log out. ;)

Just my 2 cents

Yucef: The link you mention looks like it was a version intended for the uploader (me), perhaps making the page look odd-? The file shows 23 successful DLs so people must have found a way to get it to DL with that link.
But I've replaced that link with this "normal" version:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/1yzzujrq2093
Try it.

It was someone else, not me, who once suggested 4-shared was not to be trusted just 'cause they started requiring email addresses from both uploaders & downloaders. But I've never received spam on the secondary email account that 4-shared has of mine either. I've developed a few new complaints about 4-shared though. They now have daily & monthly caps on the amount of traffic allowed on free accounts, adding up both uploading & downloading totals. So, now I'm only likely to up files there that aren't likely to have high DL demand at any time, or are small sized files. Filefactory has some drawbacks too, as you point out, including they delete files not DL-ed within 90 days. I have to watch them & DL ones myself that are getting near the 3 month mark to keep them up at Filefactory. Between the two though, as an uploader, I overall prefer Filefactory. They also have a very generous GB limit on their free accounts, 50GB, while 4-shared only offers 15GB. I've yet to find the "perfect" free file hosting site!

This one here:

-Mazzy Star - 2012-05-31 Primavera Sound fest, Spain . VIDEO recording I made of the VIDEO feed livestreamed online:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/c-WldDu1/Maz ... _Spai.html
Hope's singing is better at this Primavera fest VIDEO than in the Coachella VIDEO, imo.

I have this as MP3's (no idea from where I got it) but the opening song "Blue Flower"'s MP3 file is broken.
Is there a better (FLAC perhaps, but an intact "Blue Flower" would be nice too) version of this?

If not, I'd be willing to upload (to 4shared or Mega.nz) if someone is interested.

That's an idea that didn't occur to me yet

Also:
...
-Mazzy Star - 1990-08-08 - Live at Woody's NYC , FLAC:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/1royvekfvdnn
This is an improved version with superior audio quality, & is different from the prior FLAC version
...

The zip is damaged for this one, I downloaded it twice and it remains broken.

Any chance of a repack? ;)

First off, new additions/upgrades:
hanwaker's helping improve the boots list by kindly sending me a DVD with files he has in FLAC that up until now have been available via the list only as MP3s. Plus, he included some show recordings that weren't listed till now. Note "Clay Allison" is the early name for "Opal" which later morphed into "Mazzy Star."
-Clay Allison - 1984-05-24, Ann Arbor Michigan FLAC
http://depositfiles.com/files/h6kvwun17
The Ann Arbor show is new to the list. Pretty good sound quality, & aside from Kendra singing C.A./Opal songs it includes a nice version of David singing a standout song, "No Easy Way Down" from his earlier band "Rain Parade."
-Clay Allison - 1984-05-22 Pittsburgh, Electric Banana FLAC:
https://mega.co.nz/#!XNEG3ZQb!GS2mJG7ur ... ge2RcJbT_U
-Clay Allison - 1984-03-16, L.A., Cathay FLAC:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/Ej6tj-bAce/c ... A_FLA.html
-Clay Allison - 1984-05-14, College Pk., King Kong Club FLAC:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzgPlY ... sp=sharing

-Opal - 1987-12-14, (w. Kendra Smith) San Francisco, The iBeam FLAC:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/PSh0U2zJba/o ... _FLAC.html
-Opal - 1988-03-24 (w. Hope) Mezzago, Italy FLAC:
https://mega.co.nz/#!eR8zHYxL!HUmyD_fRJ ... 8-oOdOZxBI
-Opal - 1988-04-05 (w. Hope) Muenchen (Munich) FLAC:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzgPlY ... sp=sharing
-Opal - 1988-04-06 (w.Hope) Stuttgart FLAC:
https://mega.co.nz/#!qYEGXTDB!0iYBsHeV5 ... VhwpVSBt14
-Opal, Early Recordings Vol.II, (w. Kendra Smith), out-of-print album/CD of studio recordings, FLAC:
https://mega.co.nz/#!yFF0jIoZ!kFbJPOgTh ... p-yNZ5OG90
The prior version listed in the boots list was MP3. I've added a bonus extra track (in MP3) which does not appear on the Opal Early Recordings II album. It's Opal - If the Sun Don't Shine, an adaptation of Syd Barrett's Pink Floyd song Jug Band Blues. David Roback sings on it. It's from a 1987 Syd Barrett tribute album, "Beyond the Wildwood." Thanks go to forum member opalstardream for it.

-Kendra Smith - The Guild of Temporal Adventurers 1992. Her out-of-print solo album FLAC:
http://www.4shared.com/zip/tDdJb_eOce/K ... _Guil.html
An album new to the boots list.

-Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions 2002-09-12 Paris FLAC:
https://mega.co.nz/#!iBMCmLDZ!RNvFsRqY- ... ZxnsK10Tvg

-Mazzy Star - 1997-03-23 L.A., The Mint FLAC:
https://mega.co.nz/#!yJsTlabL!tFQIVmSMf ... Bl4VAXi5OI
This is yet another repaired version of the The Mint show. At one point, the FLAC file available via the boots list was missing one song, "Rock Section." Then I replaced that file with a new one adding the missing "Rock Section." Unfortunately I did not have a lossless FLAC version of the song at that point (instead I had a lossy AAC I converted to FLAC), though the rest of the show was in FLAC. This new, improved file restores the show to all FLAC, thanks to hanwaker.
Here's a link to DL the song "Rock Section" alone,in FLAC, for those who want to replace the one song in the The Mint recording:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzgPlY ... sp=sharing

hanwaker's DVD also contains some other recordings, including a bunch of FLAC versions of Hope's collaborations with other artists. At some point, I'll upgrade the Hope collabs. file replacing MP3s with FLACS where possible.

Thank you Uli !

Re. Yucef's problems DL-ing the Mazzy 1990 Woody's show. That File Factory file shows lots of DLs, & no one else has reported problems. I know File Factory itself seems to have connection problems, & uploads & downloads can get unexpectedly terminated, in case that's what may have happened with you. Here's a new second DL source for it:
https://mega.co.nz/#!qFsl3B4b!5WKa_tWUx ... AZRmWPafqY

Re. Yucef's & Uli's discussion re. an audio file of Mazzy's 2012 Primavera show.
The Primavera video I recorded myself from the livestream is posted to the boots list. I also have an audio recording in MP3 of it, one I neglected to add to the boots list. But my audio file for "Blue Flower," seems intact & plays fine, except for a bit of crackling & buzzing sounds which are also found in my video version.
Here's a link to DL the song "Blue Flower" alone:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzgPlY ... sp=sharing
Or, here's a link for an audio file of the whole 2012 Primavera show in MP3:
-Mazzy Star - 2012-05-31 Primavera Sound fest, Barcelona,Spain MP3:
https://mega.co.nz/#!rAtm0aZa!E9vMcwwDe ... jaRxGNB0Kc

What can I say?

 *bows* "we're not worthy, we're not worthy"
Thanks a million, you're DA man!

But look at this:
This is the FileFactory file, check out the size!
Mazzy Star - 1990-08-09 - Woody's NYC - orig. Master FLAC.zip - 300,374,751
(I've downloaded the file twice and both times the filesize was the same)

And this is the Mega.nz file:
Mazzy Star - 1990-08-09 - Woody's NYC - orig. Master FLAC.zip - 300,375,494
It's a tiny difference but it looks like a piece of the FF file was "clipped off", it's possible to open it in Winzip but there are no contents shown, strange or what?
It even might be something recent like a hickup in a copying process or something.

And another thing, the Blue Flower single Google link took me to a page to log into Google
So I got the full concert from Mega.nz, with no problem and it's almost as fast as Google. ;)

And yet another question, is it possible for two (intact) flac files of the same piece of audio to have vastly different sizes?
I'm asking this cuz I have two versions of The Mercury lounge concert, one by Scott Simpson and one by Sebbydee, and on average Scott's flacs are like 20% smaller than Sebbydee's, so just wondering why that could be.

So there you go, thanks again for everything. :D
