Like you, I first thought the Clean soundtrack included four songs by David; then, I came across this article and realized that "Strawberry Stain" and "Wait for me" had been written by Dean Wareham of Dean & Britta/Luna, not David Roback. The Clean soundtrack features only two songs by David.
