http://youtu.be/r5t7hfqYLYE-They're termed "improved" 'cause they're from original taper Scott Simpson's audio file taken directly from his original master tape. A FLAC audio file of the same recording has been listed in the boots section for some months.I just didn't get around to replacing the old version up at yt till now.
Also, another of Scott's recordings:
Mazzy Star live 1996,AUDIO, NYC, Supper Club,full set,15 songs,78 mins.,improved:

Btw, I was pleased to see this morning Mazzy Star's Keith Mitchell showed up at the comments section of my yt upload of the 2013 Seattle show:
http://youtu.be/Fa96waqcEaI where he left a couple of comments, including one confirming (as a prior yt commenter had suggested) it was his son Paul who played bass on the 2013 tour. And Keith says Paul played guitar & viola on the 2012 U.S. (i.e. Calif.) tour.
Well, at least one band member seems not unhappy about Mazzy Star live boots being upped to yt, & even leaves helpful comments. That's good to know. One of Mazzy Star's 2013 tour official photographers, Lori Reyes (Luz Gallardo took some too), also left a useful comment re. one of my 2013 gig yt slideshows, the Philly one. Her comment disappeared for a while, & I thought she must have deleted it, but I see it's back up again now, so there must have been a temporary yt glitch. Fortunately, she doesn't seem to mind me using some of her own tour photos.
Anyway, the band's earning ad revenue from my yt uploads as the ads appearing on them aren't of my own doing but are there due to "third party" copyright claims on the music contents, & ad revenue goes to the copyright holders. As soon as one uploads music to yt, yt's computers scan the contents & copyright holders are often ID-ed automatically. If the band was strongly against their live shows being upped to yt they could easily, as copyright holders, have them removed & blocked from yt. Instead, Mazzy Star seems okay with allowing uploads & claiming ad revenue. This seems fair to me!
Also, at Mazzy Star's Facebook page,
https://www.facebook.com/MazzyStarOfficial , it's not new, I see it's from a month back & many people here have likely seen it, but Hope's left a rare personal post online (I don't recall ever seeing a post ID-ed as being from her at hopesandoval.com). QUOTE: "Found Monitor on vinyl...
Keith Mitchell's first band. Lovin it! Check it out! - Hope." Apparently, the album was first released in 1981:
