Two excellent, now defunct, Mazzy Star fan sites remain viewable as archives. The popular Mazzy Star Boulevard site which closed down in early 2013 after a 15 year run is still findable here: http://archive.org/
Type in "mazzystar.nu" in their Wayback Machine box which takes you to this page:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://mazzystar.nu
From the top of the page you can choose which year you want to view. Click on blue highlighted dates. Those are dates the site contents were "crawled" & recorded. archive.org took "snapshots" recording the site's content many times over the years. In Feb. 2013, Webmaster Anders removed all his site's content except for the fan forum, which he left up & running till April. To view the non-Forum content, you need to click on highlighted dates from Jan. 2013 or earlier. Click on a category at the top (e.g "lyrics", etc.), then scroll down the page to view that section. As many readers here will know, Anders' own content includes band & band member biographies/history/facts/ discography/ a list of known concert bootlegs including set lists if known (but without download links. The Forum thread "Mazzy Star Bootlegs List" with download links was a popular Forum thread. It's being continued here at mazzystar.free.fr & is bigger & better than ever)/ song lyrics (not always accurate, however)/ song chords/ list of cover songs the band played/ press articles/ interviews, & reviews, etc. Of Anders' own content, all the text got archived but audio snippets & photos did not. Unfortunately, the site's Forum appears to have been sloppily archived, for some reason. Many or most threads seem to have not been archived. But sometimes Forum threads missing from one "snapshot" are findable in a snapshot from a different date. So, trying various dates can help in exploring Forum threads.

-Another excellent fan site that closed in 1999, "Everything Mazzy Star", is viewable as archives here:
http://www.oocities.org/sunsetstrip/pal ... index.html
It's a great resource, containing lots of valuable content not findable elsewhere. For instance, for reproduced 1990s press interviews, articles & reviews, it's a gold mine, & has many more articles than Mazzy Star Blvd. although Mazzy Star Blvd. has some it doesn't. The two sites complement each other.
